About MouseLife - Parenthood
This game has been abandoned since the start. It was my first game ever and I did not know what I was doing. It is full of issues and will not get updates as I do not have the files anymore. Please do not judge my other projects based on this one! I decided to make it free as I don't want to charge anything for it
Mouse Life - Parenthood is a simulation type game in which you play as a little mouse who has to raise his child. You will have to scavenge for cheese, stop ants from stealing it and stay away or hide from the cats that wish you gone.
As the player, you need to watch for the time, hunger, fuel and other things that keep you alive and well, this is what makes the game a little bit more a Survival Simulation game and not just a Casual game. I hope you will enjoy playing!

Cute little game. A nice port from the mobile version that came out earlier, although I would have appreciated that every button could be used with the keyboard instead of clicking, but it generally isn't that much of a problem. I like the artstyle as well, but the cat could have had more details lol2 found this helpful
"MouseLife - Parenthood" is an unusual game, a sort of life simulator adventure game where you control a 2D retro pixel mouse and you have to look after your child by doing various minigame type stuff by adventuring and stealthing around a 2D retro pixel home thing. Like the game Shelter but without any of the emotional attachment or production quality (such as it was). This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, they decided that "Procgen IS content!" and lazily tried to use procgen algorithms to create infinite, samey, repetitive, soulless levels, because that's a lot less work. …1 found this helpful
it's so buggy... Screen flickering, Character vanishing etc... good game but until the bug got fixed. I won't recommend it to be played1 found this helpful
