6/10 suuuuuuuppppperrr sloooow at 1st, takes ages to unlock a 2nd person only 6$ - not that much you can do. - no kids - no marriage + pets but only 1 of each - crashes randomly sometimes3 found this helpful
I just really like that it's a slower paced simulation game. It's enough to keep me busy without overwhelming me, but I can also just let it run while I do other things and they'll keep on living/making money. It's lowkey addicting haha.1 found this helpful
The game offers a generally relaxing experience. As a small life sim style idle, it can run horizontally or vertically on the screen, and having a tiny virtual house tucked at the edge of the display creates a calm, low key presence. Managing the little characters adds a bit of charm without feeling overly involved. Running the game during busy days helps pass the time, and the idle mechanics operate quietly in the background without getting in the way. With no urgency or pressure, letting things sit for a while feels fine. Watching the small residents go about their routines pairs surprisingly well with louder music, and household cats often seem curious about the moving pixels. Earning points unlocks various decorative items, giving players something to work toward. The focus stays on experiencing the available content, though features like character customization or death aren’t included. The extra space for arranging layouts helps the game stand out a bit from similar idle, and finding hidden easter eggs adds a small layer of fun. Overall, it provides a mild, stress free experience that fans of simple idle games may appreciate.
A little disappointed with how short the game is right now. I hope it could develop more, have relationships, deaths, kids, make it more of a long term game.
I really enjoy this game so far! I'd really love it if there was a way to have it be playable on mac devices, specifically a Mac book. It's just a fun little time waster to have up while you're doing other things! It's exactly as advertised! <3
I genuinely enjoy My Little Life. I usually keep it open on one of my monitors while I'm doing other things on my PC, more often than not I end up getting distracted and just playing it instead. It's a great little desktop companion with a relaxing gameplay loop. My biggest complaint is the furniture and prop menus. They can feel pretty clunky and annoying to navigate, especially when you're trying to find specific items to decorate houses and level up careers. I also wish there were more customization options for your little people. Other than those issues, I've had a great time with it. If you're looking for a cozy idle game that can sit on your desktop while you work, browse, or game, this is definitely worth checking out. I'd happily recommend it.
