This game absolutely oozes with immense charm and passion. Mr Sleepy Man has easily become one of my top favorites of all time for its use of mechanics, comedy and story (As well as amazing music my goodness). Loved every moment throughout my time playing, I'd highly recommend it to anyone!1 found this helpful
Brings me back to when I had sleepovers at my friend's house and we'd play all sorts of platformer games trying to mess things up as much as possible The developer Devin Santi is an incredibly talented guy1 found this helpful
scratches the 3D platformer nostalgia itch while also being fun and imaginative in its own right. works great on steam deck!
Amazing game, you start it as the typical platformer, but the more you do the more you want to continue trying new things and interactions. The dialogs are amazing without being corny, and the quality of some parts will leave you wondering if this is really an indie game. After finishing it at 100%, it leaves you with the typical emptiness you feel after binging a series you love, which I think speaks volumes about it. TLDR: If you are somewhat in platformers, or you were into them in the Spyro/Crash bandicoot era, give this one a go, you wont be dissapointed! PS: If you have an ultrawide monitor dont worry, it has support for it, played it in 21:9.
Honestly I loved the overall experience when it comes to beating the game, there's a lot of fun elements out there for a 3D 1990s-early 2000s styled retro game about a lil' sleepy guy causin' mischief, and the soundtrack is so damn good aswell, that I literally just casually jam to some of the in-game songs almost every day (especially the Friendship TV Song one, that's one of my favs.) Oh and the artstyle to me looks pretty awesome, that it reminds me of other indie games that I've also played before (like Pizza Tower & Rain World, otherwise any other game that I'm tired enough to even mention.) And finally, about the story itself, it's just mesmerizing to see one small old man to just cause an entire riot in Bedtime Town, from ruining Tony Time and trapping Smash Mouse, then stealing Grandma Clam's car keys and recklessly crash all over the town, and then the entire part where its just Sleepy revealing Papa Bear's true colors in front of Mama Bear and realizing that he was not all clean and ♥♥♥♥ when it came to his relationship with her, its just that i absolutely find these events just so craycray, and then there's also the other side of the story where Teefy just has that obs…
Never thought that a silly game about being a menace would blindside me with such banger music and feels.
