Silly comedic South Park-esque humoured visual novel done in the rpgmaker format. It's not expensive, and I've enjoyed most of the games so far by these creators. It's not called Randumz for nothing, and I expected not much less when I opened it. Amused me for a bit.3 found this helpful
Naked News tries really hard to be an SNL type Weekend Update, but in its attempt to be gritty, dirty, vulgar, dark, and crass with its humor, the VN is both very middle school with its jokes and in other cases just offensive or unfunny in execution unfortunately. It isn't really a game so much as a series of attempted news style jokes that just don't work and aren't worth the time compared to other games this studio has to offer. 2/102 found this helpful
I can definitely see why this game gets kinda mediocre ratings here on steam. It's only 1 euro (though I got it in a bundle) and it's about 20 minutes long. It's not a game, Randumb Studios don't make games. It's a short, not even story but kinda like sketches. There's no gameplay involved, just very crude and politically incorrect jokes. It's gonna offend a lot of people. Others might not even be offended but humour is subjective. I've learned in my live to laugh with absolutely everything about myself, others, the worlds, society... and not everyone likes my sense of humour either. It's the only way I can deal with life. If you're like me, maybe you'll enjoy this too. If not, you just got scammed out of a euro - or dollar.1 found this helpful
Alright, where do I start? It's... an experience. I'll be honest, I caught myself wanting to laugh at a lot of the humor provided. I understand the intention, but it's not my personal taste. I'm sure there are plenty of people who would find reading these jokes to be absolutely hilarious. I mean even I found some of the disturbing imagery to be mildly humerus. Honestly, this could easily have been a TV series experience, or even a comic, but I understand if that would seem like too much to do. This works for a simple scroll through.
Though, more of a show than a game, I liked it! Will forever, from now on, use the phrase 'moister than an oyster' :D
