About Unhack 2

PLEASE NOTE:

Unhack 2 is unvoiced because the script is five times that of the original. Thank you for your understanding.

A masked AI known as Program X has thrown cyberspace back into chaos. The unhacker, with next gen AI Neonya by his side, answers the call to battle. Our hero, however, is disturbed by one fact—Program X and her minions resemble old friends, friends who should have been long dead.

A darker story:

Unhack 1 was published in 2012, so I had plenty of time to mature since then. While Unhack 2’s characters are still a spirited bunch, this time, they will face a much darker journey.

Humans VS AI:

AI will grow at a much faster rate than many of us can imagine. Will humanity become obsolete? Can AI hope to truly understand us? Prepare for a roller coaster journey through cyberspace.

Puzzle segments:

The narrative takes priority in this sequel, but players can still look forward to the return of puzzle segments.

Good luck, dear unhacker!

Unhack 2 is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This e-book was slapped together with the godawfully bad RenPy Visual Novel/E-Book construction kit, so just like no professional writing took place here, no professional game development took place either, it's just a product of filling out templates in the construction kit. There is a minigame stapled onto the E-book, a really badly made Adobe Flash tier pathing puzzle minigame slapped together with Py'Game, the game engine that should be taken out the back yard and... err... "gone to live on a farm with all the other animals". PyGame is terrible, and nothing good ever came out of it, and if you want proof, let me present Exhibit "A": "Unhack 2". …

Unhack 2 is the direct Sequel of Unhack. And all in one you get more of everything, Ten new puzzling levels. The Story got a big improvement now being a visual novel. Way more text and pretty big story sements. Storytelling itself is good naking the lore of Unhack go way further. It´s a three to four hor read, depending on your reading speed. Unfortunately more lines of text and dialogue has a price: No voice acting this time. But Artworks got a huge improvement in exchange too. Everything looks so much better now. Everyone who liked part 1 won´t waste money here.

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…
