This game is brutal. Most survivors games will shower you with fun abilities and upgrades to get you hooked, and when you inevitably die you can at least buy a few upgrades or new characters to play with. That is not the experience you will have with this game. You will struggle, and you will keep struggling. I unlocked a void bomb weapon that comically misses 95% of it's uses. Game starts with cutscenes that have really weirdly poor framerate for whatever reason too.3 found this helpful
simple yet addicting gameplay. music that you dont mute, YOU TURN IT UP. and i love the the main menu art n design. and a progression system that makes every run feel like a win that has you coming in stronger the next attempt. plays great on the steam deck! well worth the price!!2 found this helpful
I'm 8 hours in, still on what I assume is the first of many levels, unlocked a few new abilities and weapons and made a good dent into the tech tree. But wow, what an excellently paced horde survivor game. It definitely has a grind to it, but it's not boring and annoying. Every round you feel incremental progress, even just from a better understand of tactics and positioning. The urge to click Play Again on the Game Over screen feels like the "just one more turn" feeling you get playing a 4X game. Best $2 I've spent on this whole store.1 found this helpful
