About Narazumono
Narazumono is a roguelike game.
The goal is to reach the bottom of the randomly generated dungeon.
• Random Dungeon
The dungeon's layout is randomly generated, with the placement of items and enemies changing every time.
Explore each floor to find the stairs, and descend to proceed to the next floor.
• Turn-based combat system
Each time a player takes an action such as movement or attacking, enemies will also take one action.
Until the player acts, the enemies will not act either.
• Permadeath
It is game over when the player is killed.
When you get a game over, all the items you have will be lost except for three.
You will have to begin the adventure again from the starting point.
This game is compatible with XBox 360 controller.

And it didn't make it into any trending charts, with good reason. This game offers nothing new, nothing exciting, nothing fun, really. It's a simple top-down dungeon crawler with very little RNG that only launches in a non-expandable 1200x800 pixel window. In May 2019, with the thriving culture of 4K gaming, publishing a game that launches into a tiny window will lead nowhere. On top of that, a game that has little to no intrinsic value will also not get any awards.
Gameplay
You will control the protagonist down a series of levels in a dungeon, killing generic looking enemies, and running into traps. You will come across vendors who are also marked as enemies on the minimap just to make things vague. You will need to eat to satisfy your hunger. On the minimap, items, exits, along with the enemies are outlined. You have very basic equipment set consisting of a weapon, a …22 found this helpful
It's a not bad Mystery Dungeon style roguelike but there are quite a few drawbacks. - Overpriced for what it is - Runs in window not full screen - Seems to be made for controller not keyboard e.g. to wait you press 2 keys - It doesn't give you any tutorial or help at all. To help you out, hold h on keyboard to display keys - Can't redefine keyboard - Has no story unlike most mystery dungeon games, it's just a straight dungeon dive - Only features 30 of the 100 planned levels, have to hope dev continues to work on this early access title - Can't turn music off so you can play with your own music plus game sound effects4 found this helpful
Ok, for starts, this game was SIGNIFICANTLY better than i was expecting, i had actually had fun for a while. But there are quite a few issues with this game. 1. The games description reads as " Permadeath It is game over when the player is killed. When you get a game over, all the items you have will be lost except for three. You will have to begin the adventure again from the starting point." This is slightly untrue, you only get 1 item on respawn, for me i had to pick between keeping a shield or a sword. The bigger problem though is that whenever i stopped playing i lost EVERYTHING. Meaning i need to do marathon sessions if i want to keep my diamond shield. One of my biggest peevs is when i need to run a game to hold onto progress. 2. i dont think this game is being worked on anymore...... as is, the price is probably fair, assuming that the game does indeed have 30 floors (i couldnt clear floor 18), but if your getting this game expecting a full 100... just don't. 3. There is a massive amount of traps, enemies, items, etc. a lot of them do really cool and unique stuff, but it is super random, 99% of the times i was dying late game, it was surprise sleep traps or entering a…
