Natsu no Iro no Nostalgia

Harem-style eroge with 4 main heroines to choose from, with a decently written and serious horror-themed story - enough to stand on its own without the H content, though on the short side. Keep in mind there is no official English localization is available - there is a third party machine translation patch, however. As with many - but not all - similar games that were ported to Steam, H scenes are not available in this version, and a third party patch is required to view them. Decent artwork and CGs, and good music - with over 30 sound tracks available - and voice acting. However, nothing extraordinary in these regards, at least to the content that is officially available in the Steam version. The H scenes are great, obviously they are the focus of the game as originally created, and it is a pity that they are not included in Steam. Overall, for the price, a decent buy, just make sure to look up the missing content. 7/10 for the official game as available in Steam, 8/10 with the omitted H content.

Don't mind my playtime as I have played this game on the seven seas, and this particular version doesn't have Japanese language anyway. Copied from my review on vndb. Despite what the cover and the screenshots would lead you to believe, Natsu no Iro no Nostalgia is actually a very somber experience, mostly creepy and sometimes even straight up horror. The protagonist and his little sister go back to their hometown after 3 years of living in their aunt's house after a tragic incident that burnt down the house and killed their parents; shortly after their return, they suddenly find themselves stuck in a strange place which the characters call Eden or Labyrinth depends on who you ask, where time does not flow - or more precisely, the same day is repeated over and over again seemingly forever; in here, they are reunited with the other 3 heroines, where the protagonist and his sister hanged with 3 years prior. I love this visual novel so much, I pretty much read it whenever i had free time, I did not play a single other game until I finished it.
