Neopets - Mega Mini Games Collection - The Neopian Arcade Odyssey

I seriously don't understand all the bad reviews. I'm personally enjoying the game so far! Haven't seen or experienced anything that would be considered "buggy" but then again the original Flash games on the website had their fair share of bugs. No problems on my end though! It's a great dose of nostalgia, the games are fun, and I love being able to earn Neopoints for my Neopets account. I think if you're a Neopets fan it's definitely worth the purchase for sure! And apparently the devs stated they may be adding more minigames in the future to this package, so I look forward to that!

I like neopets

As someone who's entire childhood was spent playing Neopets, I was very excited for this game release. However, after completing the story mode within about 20 minutes, I was disappointed in what was left to play. Starting off with the attributes that I liked 1) there is a good representation of classic nostalgic mini games, mixed in with games that came a few years later 2) The games seem to run well without many hiccups on my PC and steam deck. With that being said, for a game that came out at a $20 price point - I wouldn't spend more than a dollar or two on this collection. You play through the story mode in just a few minutes, which unlocks the arcade for quick and casual playing of the mini games. The arcade mode (which should be the highlight of the game) has a lot of room for improvement. 1) Most of the minigames have a time limit, and I would like for this type of platform to have a zen mode, or allow the player to chose their time limit for each game. 45 to 60 second limits does not allow for any time for enjoyment. 2) It does not save your scores for each game. Would love to have a personal and or community leader board for each game - otherwise it just feels like you're …

As a longtime Neopian, I've really been enjoying this collection. The story mode ties into the most recent plot "The Void Within", and the minigames have been really nicely remastered with new graphics, audio, and improved controls. It's been fun seeing updated versions of some of my favourites. The soundtrack can be a bit repetitive at times, but the audio quality is good. Now that the pricing has been updated to be much more fair, I'd definitely recommend picking it up if you're a Neopets fan!

Really fun what a dose of nostalgia - lots of fun playing it and have had 0 issues!
