Arcade games collection

So if I understand correctly this used to be a collection of a bunch of games, then in July 2021 the dev decided to delete all but one. I only played the game after it has been changed so I can't comment about the rest, but the one that was left is absolute garbage. It has one singular level in which you are a smiley face shooting at other smiley faces that show up randomly till the game just ends out of nowhere. No settings, not controls rebinding, nothing at all. And there is something weird going on with the graphic of it as well. It works fine with Proton (7,0-3) but that is the only good thing I can say about it. Stay well away.

A collection of sub-par games with poor controls and so so hit detection. If any of these games showed up at an actual arcade I wouldn't play them. This is neither strange, nor is it a collection. It's not even really a game. To charge money for this should be punishable as a crime. Possibly a hate crime, because of how much I hate this terrible game.

"The strangest game in the world" is a poorly made 2D retro pixel top down shooter slapped together badly with Construct 3. It was apparently once part of a selection of crappy 2D retro pixel shovelware games that nobody wanted or asked for, but now if you buy this you just get this one crappy shooter game. This does raise the fascinating philosophical question: Is it better or worse for the game package to have more crappy shovelware games in it? Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
