About Night Blood : Avenger's Tide
"Night Blood: Avenger's Tide" is a side-scrolling action game that takes place in the world's most prosperous city, Atlandi. Players need to control Mark to find his own past, use various ultra-sci-fi weapons to break through the enemy's siege, and finally uncover the huge conspiracy hidden behind the crisis.

Atlandi is a super city controlled by a foundation composed of three major corporations: The Watcher, the Order Unit and Lyke. Behind the superficial prosperity is full of the dirty deeds of big corporations. As a super soldier, you will take up the weapon in your hand, fight against the dark side of the city, keep fighting and gain growth, and finally destroy all the conspiracies of the enemy.

During the battle, you will face different types of enemies from guards, mechanical soldiers, drones, modified creatures, etc., and avoid enemy attacks by rolling, jumping, sprinting, etc., and even using weapons. Well, I will say the developer has a lot of ambition, too much maybe, as this combat platformer tries to bite off more than it can chew. For the first half hour of the game a tutorial tip for a new move, item, or whatever is popping up every 30 seconds, some of them multiple times. It's a bit much to take in right away, and some of it is just unnecessary. There's also a decent amount of story to it and the translation is a bit off, sometimes amusingly so. The problem is the game just doesn't control well. There always feels like there's a bit of a delay in jumping or slashing, which is a killer since the game insists on a lot of the jumps being combo slash/jumps across dangerous areas, which means you're going to miss a lot. The combat is decent, there's an attack, a block, and a special weapon, but it all feels similar. The graphics are cute -- they're not pixel art but still very retro looking, but I wish they were larger, everything is just a little too small. The music is roughly a 30 second loop and got turned off after a few minutes. The controller support is solid, although like I said, seems a bit laggy.
