Story Background

He is revered as a "national treasure" and objectified as the "Fireseed." His existence is the only hope for the continuation of civilization; his body becomes the ultimate resource in a power struggle among various factions.From the initial confinement under a "points system" to the later "Athena Protocol" cloaked in civility, Ren Xing struggles in a whirlpool of desire, rationality, science, and hypocrisy.
