Story
You take the role of Robert, a man grappling with the loss of his wife Joann, as he takes on a remote job as a caretaker for abandoned homes during the winter/fall season in search of peace and solitude. However, as a severe storm approaches, you are tasked with securing one final property on the hill.
As you secure the house and complete your chores, strange occurrences and unexplained phenomena come to light, along with a mysterious figure that seems linked to the events at hand.
Through examination of various objects and clues within the property, you begin to realize that a sinister presence may be at play, leading to a series of unsettling events during your stay as you try to piece together the mystery of the former residents of the house.

What a stupid f***ing game design!!! What is the POINT of requiring a flashlight to play but inevitably killing the batteries so quickly that the only thing you really have time for is FINDING MORE BATTERIES? I tried to keep mine off from the very beginning because I read reviews saying the flashlight dies quickly. I didn't have it on much AT ALL. Considering I played for .9 hours and went through 4 batteries, IS INSANELY STUPID and a TERRIBLE DESIGN!!! NO FLASHLIGHT DOES THAT!?!!! I was really looking forward to this experience and now I am regretting purchasing this game. Definitely a waste of money and time. Sad too! It has POTENTIAL!! Devs dropped the ball on this one. Change the flashlight mechanism and reboot the game with the update. I promise you'll receive positive feedback, not to mention more sales! What a shame!1 found this helpful

For presumably a first time dev, it's a perfectly fine experience. The atmosphere and most of the sound design is pretty on point. is it perfect? Oh no. Not at all. But it's worth the experience. If just to support a one man indie dev at least.
Pretty meh. Not really scary and most of the game is searching for items and looking all over the place for them to progress with very little happening. Also no manual saves and the auto saves aren't that often even for a short game so unless you want to lose progress you can't just quit out whenever. The story so far I think I have a good idea of how it's going to end and I'm deciding if I really want to work through the painful process of finishing this game.
I realize this game is a few years old but I randomly came across it. Thought it was very well done. Graphics were really good and I'm glad the developer didn't throw that lame VHS effect filter on it. Whether you buy it on sale or full price it's worth it for the play time. Took me 2 hours. 8/10
