"Opus Castle" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Opus Castle". Opus Castle is DLC that unlocks the full content of the "game", which is really just a lazy Digital Homicide style asset flip, a collection of other people's assets arranged badly into a simple walking sim/narrative adventure of deplorably low quality. We shouldn't be surprised when morally bankrupt asset flippers use morally bankrupt misleading pricing, falsely pushing a game as "free" when the real content for the game is paygated behind DLC. None of this is good for gamers. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Opus Castle, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Opus Castle" too. So, the purpose of this advertisement is to ge…

Opus Castle is a first-person horror adventure that draws much of its identity from an unusual source: the real Castelinho da Rua Apa in São Paulo, Brazil. Developed by Messier Games and published by QUByte Interactive, the game takes a historical location associated with tragedy and transforms it into the setting for a supernatural investigation. Instead of building its horror entirely around fictional monsters or an invented haunted mansion, it uses the disturbing reputation of a genuine place to give its mystery additional weight. The result is an experience primarily designed for players who enjoy atmospheric exploration, paranormal stories, historical mysteries, and gradually discovering what happened within an unsettling location. The story begins under disturbing circumstances as the protagonist awakens inside the castle near a body covered with bullet wounds. This immediately establishes one of the central questions: was the death a suicide, or was someone murdered? Answering that question requires exploring the property and uncovering clues about its history. The deeper the protagonist ventures into the building, the more the castle begins to reveal its supernatural side.…

this game looked really good, the controls are little bad. the only complaint i have is i had a hard time try i figure out what to do or look for. The game is short only giving you enough to try and get you to buy the next 5 chapters. i don't think i will get the next game because there just wasn't enough to get me interested in getting the next one.

Nice demo game. Jumpscares were alright. There is no mouse sensitivity options or headbob so the start is a little disorientating with the character. I just used my mouse senitivity button to slow it down a little. Once you get to the mansion it gets interesting. THe door puzzle threw me off as you cant interact with the strange symbol on the door except look at it. The voiceover isnt in english so english subs, Not bad, It would be interesting to see chapter 2-5. Took me 25 minutes to finish the demo. Check it out if you haven't played Opus Castle. First one is free but 2-5 you have to purchase.

Scares me, but it reminds me of the SML Creepypasta of super Mario Logan, where he tries to hurt Joseph and Cody while I’m wearing a hood that is black that is a creepy pasta made by a fan
