✦ AI summary

Players are deeply divided on this horror game. Some appreciate its atmospheric mansion and cemetery settings, interesting story, and visual style, completing it fully with enjoyment. However, many others report significant technical and design problems including unresponsive controls, persistent audio bugs (like sounds following the player across distances), awkward keybindings, freezing in menus, and translation errors that undermine the experience. The core concept shows promise but the execution appears marred by poor polish and bugs that frustrate players despite the game's visual appeal.

Deceptive Presentation Masks a Broken Game – AVOID AT ALL COSTS Don’t be fooled by the trailer or visuals — this game is a textbook example of poor design hidden behind glossy graphics. What initially appears to be a promising indie horror title quickly devolves into a clunky, frustrating, and buggy mess that should never have made it past early testing, let alone be sold at a $15 price point. The issues begin immediately. Controls are unresponsive and awkward, creating a constant sense of disconnection from the environment. You start the game walking through a cemetery, only to be met with an ill-placed dog jump scare. While the dog remains behind a fence, the audio — bizarrely — follows you no matter how far you walk away. One mission asks you to find a key in a two-story building with zero context — no direction, no layout guidance. A vague hint later tells you to check “George’s room,” but the game never tells you where that is. It’s only after trial and error — and growing frustration — …

First of all, thank you very much for the key. I genuinely appreciate it, and I want to say that despite its flaws, I did have fun playing the game. The atmosphere, the core idea, and the visual style are enjoyable, and the concept overall has a lot of potential. However, I would like to share detailed and constructive feedback that could help significantly improve the experience. Technical / Gameplay Issues & Observations Game freeze in Controls tab: The game froze when opening the control settings for the first time, or there was no clear way to exit back to the menu. Incorrect German wording: The German translation labels Q/E as “Mager” instead of the correct “Lehnen” (lean). Strange keybindings: L-Shift = Run Camera movement or movement bound to the key “1” feels very unusual. Switching between lighter and flashlight with the Up Arrow is uncomfortable — mouse wheel or keys like 1/2/3 would be much more intuitive. Audio slider: The in-game audio slider didn’t work properly; I had to adjust the volume through Windows. Intro not skippable: The long intro should be skippable, at least after the first launch. Menu “Quit”: Should be clearly labeled as “Quit Game” or “Exit …
