Organ Quarter

My playthrough was 8.5 hours long (I just assumed I beat it because there was a long red screen with no credits or anything) here are my thoughts: For a very early VR game, this game is very surprising, in that it has a decently long runtime, is well designed, and does not hold anything back for the sake of VR. This is a survival horror game similar to resident evil or silent hill. the gameplay loop is very engaging and fun, and the game can be very tense and scary at times. the atmosphere is consistently great. The game's story is very interesting, and is not exactly told directly, making the game feel as if you're living through a real place and piecing things together, instead of just sitting through a narrative. I had some problems with the game that held it back for me however. the main problem for me was the walking speed. a game like this requires a lot of backtracking, and unfortunately the walking speed is so slow that it can take an annoyingly long time to get somewhere, especially if you need to travel across the map for something optional. No. For me its no. Some bugs, some borring things, some issues, VERY SLOW walking and final BOSS. And no achievement for hard difficulty. I would like to make a refund, but i cant. You can try it, maybe you will like it more, them me, cause... I dont know. Last boss was the last drop of my patince. Thanks to developers, offcourse, but its nothing similar to silent hill and its kinda empty and boring.

I remain fascinated by 2017's Organ Quarter because I haven't completed it. Organ Quarter occupies a strange space among horror games; it has an a strange story to unravel, offers macabre puzzles and obstacles, and the exploration of nightmare environments excel in VR. The low-fi graphic style works. It hits different. I will get this played. I will explore the crazy.

A great mix of classic survival horror games wrapped up in a VR game. There are a lot of nostalgia checks this game nails. The game is fairly buggy, a few graphical bugs and the game sometimes locks up into a black abyss through load screens. However! This a GREAT VR game for what it is, if you're a fan of the genre and the classics, then you should 100% get this one.

Love this game so much. Wish I could find more games like it. Such a VR treasure.
