The first game was amazing and worthy of a thumbs up. This one is your average 3rd person fighter, akin to how everyone thinks of smash bros because the fighter game is a sidescroller with fall hazards and verticality. The previous one had Pacific Rim style combat, if you had 3 friends willing to play with you. It's actually a crime that the first game is unpurchaseable. If you want the TLDR, just start a movement to bring the first game back to the store. If you want to buy this game, ask yourself if you own more than 3 fighting games that you play regularly and then ask yourself how many fighting games that you've owned in the past that you've returned to.3 found this helpful
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
Override 2 is a dead Nintendo Switch third person brawler/PvP arena combat game. There's no single player or story mode, just PvP, and there's no players. It was a basic "hero PvP" game where you unlock various hero characters with their special abilities and combat styles and brawl other players. I think a couple of points to mention... despite being a pure PvP game the developer behaved in a remarkably ethical way and restrained from infesting this with loot boxes, MTX, all that nasty stuff. I think that deserves recognition and respect to the developers for doing the right thing and making a game you can just buy and play and that's it. This isn't even the worst Nintendo Switch game I've seen on Steam, not by a long shot. I'll go so far as to say the questionable decision to publish yet another contentless PvP game into a vast ocean of competitors was the sole reason this failed. If this had a single player campaign and story, it probably would have made millions. But, …2 found this helpful
the first one was much better but this one had ultraman soo idk vro 100% first one bettterrr dawwggg
Override 2: Super Mech League aims to deliver a fast, accessible, and spectacle-driven giant-robot brawler, and at its best, the game succeeds by leaning fully into chaotic fun rather than technical depth. Developed and published by Maximum Entertainment, it positions itself as an arena fighter where towering mechs trade blows in colorful, compact stages. Rather than building a heavy lore framework or deep single-player story, the game embraces an arcade-like immediacy: you pick a mech, jump into the fray, and rely on quick, explosive exchanges to secure victory. This simplicity is the foundation of its appeal, and the moment-to-moment combat — when projectiles fill the air and special moves collide in dramatic bursts — achieves the larger-than-life excitement the series is aiming for. The playable roster is one of the game’s strongest features. With more than twenty mechs to choose from, each designed with its own silhouette, playstyle, and personality, the variety ensures that players can gravitate toward a mech that suits their rhythm. Some excel at grappling and close-quarters pressure, others keep distance with ranged options, and several rely on oddball gimmicks that add fla…
i mean it's alright.... only thing making it kinda fun is the ultraman characters because it's ultraman even though it's the mech ones :(
Controls are way too simple, especially in comparison to the length of the battle. On top of that all of the available attacks felt very generic. I would absolutely consider buying a sequel to this, but as is it's just simply not recommendable at all.
