Panic Station VR is a short, focused virtual reality first-person shooter that concentrates almost entirely on fast combat rather than trying to build a lengthy campaign. Developed by the Student team of Korea Vocational College of Information and Technology in the Republic of Korea and published by the Korea Vocational College of Information and Technology, the game was created as a student project designed to experiment with combat mechanics in a VR FPS environment. That origin explains both its interesting mechanical ideas and its noticeably limited scale. Instead of stretching a simple concept across several hours, Panic Station VR presents a compact challenge intended to be completed in roughly ten minutes. The story provides just enough context to support the action. Players become an agent of Sentinel, an organization responsible for fighting demons appearing throughout a fictional modern world. After Sentinel comes under a massive enemy assault, its agents receive emergency orders to reach their respective destinations. Несмотря на сложность и требующий внимательности геймплей, 'Panic Station VR' предлагает уникальный опыт социального взаимодействия и тактической борьбы, который редко встретишь в других VR-играх. Рекомендую играть с опытными друзьями, готовыми к проверке на прочность дружбы. Не для слабонервных, но определенно worth it для любителей напряженных кооперативных хорроров.

"Panic Station VR" is a student project from Korea, a basic VR tech demo where you kill a lot of monsters. I have to say I've seen a lot worse on Steam and I think the students probably passed the course this year, so they can go on and be forced to make garbage mobile apps. But I like to hope some of them could escape that fate and instead make real PC games. The graphics in this game are really quite good, which at least makes the game look more appealing. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I …
