The world was nearly destroyed by machines from parallel dimension 3000 years ago in a great battle which the ancients called The Rift War. Now what left of mankind lives underground and only with the genes of our commanding Lord Fathers can reach the surface and fight to reclaim our land... They call these people; Strangers.
The Stranger is an Epic Games Megagrants awarded, very intense VR combat game made by 3 people that sets in an incredibly detailed exotic world. You are the Stranger of your generation. You are alone in a hostile world. All you have are your weapons, your protective suit and your courage.

A very simple shooting game despite the (sometimes) beautiful environments. - enemy models look simple and they all look and behave the same, like seeing clones, they run the same, they dodge the same while having very simple and repetitive attack patterns - the lasers/rockets of the weapons only appear when far away from the gun - infinite ammo without the need to even reload feels wrong, you just press the trigger all the time and then point to the enemies - some textures are blurry, even on Epic. - snap-turn is wrong because you can rotate only clockwise (using the Y key) ?? Actually I didn't expect too much from a game that is so cheap like this but it turned out to be awesome! Great gameplay and balance. The gameplay flows like a river and I loved the graphics. Looks like a AAA game. Will play more and update my review later.1 found this helpful
- Fast - Very fun gameplay - Great Music - Story is rather weak - Would have been awesome if there was multiplayer support - Nice price - Totally recommend this.
