My Playtime: 0.7h (finished the game)
Intro
Phase Cross is a Nonogram fangame with Iori Hakushika, a Japanese V-Tuber, as a theme. The one showing in the background in the main menu looks great, although the rest can be pretty lackluster. Some UI buttons, like the back button, look like a reload button that was skewed, and the size of the buttons doesn't match the others. Well, for a free game, it is alright. I don't know the talent that this game was made for. So I don't understand any of the references in the nonograms. It is a picross style game where the number on the side shows how many boxes should be filled. Some of these can get pretty tough as the puzzle gets bigger. It can get frustrating to logic out which boxes to fill in. The game helpfully avoids this by locking in your answer once you get the correct combination. So you know when your guess is correct. That said, I did enjoy the random images I got from solving puzzles. The AI music style is varied enough to avoid getting muted. I guess I would recommend this game. My only thought at the end of it was that I should probably get a job. P.S - There is at least one minigame to be found. I have no idea how to activate it though. It had something to do with shooting seagulls though.
