Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
You can view my gameplay & early impressions here: https://youtu.be/1RLX08e1myo This is a challenging physics-based platformer that has some puzzle elements. You traverse the world via this hand booster in a low-gravity world. You have to figure out the tricky jumps, while avoiding some obstacles. Jumps take a lot of precision or you'll fall to your death. I would say there is a lot of just getting used to the jumps and how to gain the right momentum and how to properly used the booster to bounce yourself off the platform. There's a lot of trial and error. I think some will love this type of challenge, while others will find it frustrating. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting mostly 90 fps, but I did experience some noticeable micro-stutters which did effect the platforming. I didn't experience any game-breaking bugs, but besides the micro-stutters, I also experienced a bug where one of the buttons was no longer functional after dying once on the level and that forced me to restart the level from the main menu to get around the bug. You have snap turning available. You can play comfortably seated. [b]Rat…6 found this helpful
Photoelektric is a paid VR platformer game. It worked on my Index and HTC Vive and Meta Quest 3 via Steam Link system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Has 10 levels to explore. Very hard. Maybe buy this game, if you like platformer games. I got a free key for this from the Steam Curator program.
