Nice portal-esque game, with inspirations from logic circuits. Challenging at times! The engine is open source, and very well written (it deserves a buy just for that!). Solid Linux build, thank you!

This game is great. No notes. If you love puzzle games, you owe it to yourself to play this. Amazing that it's done by a single dev. Some of the puzzles are deviously delicious!

OK...I just reached level 28 so I don't know anything past this, but: >Just based on what I've seen so far---BUY this puzzle game. At first, learning how to manipulate the boxes etc., can be a bit confusing (because it is Different from other games). The graphics are simple, and the game Runs smooth and without a hitch. Here's the only thing that I didn't care for: For the most part, you solve a level and move to the next level (rinse and repeat). However, on occasion, you may need to go back to 'some' level in order to proceed to the next level. I didn't care for this at all, but some people seem to have liked the added complexity. IF you are a puzzle junkie<<<Download this immediately as it will give your synapses a light show! Keep in mind, this isn't a 'simple' puzzle game. You will REALLY have to put your thinking caps on for this one. For me, it was even more complicated than "Infinifactory"! It was 10 bucks for my purchase, but if you are on the fence, put it on your wish list and wait for a good SALE. ---The only major negative that I can think of is that: The complexity of this puzzle game will 'turn away' a LOT of people. It's always hard to try and balance a puzzle game …

Basic mechanics hiding some punishing puzzle design.

To get the biggest criticisms out of the way first: the game is a bit janky, UI and UX are not particularly smooth and its not the most polished game out there. What it is instead is a love letter to the first person puzzle genre, paying homage to the laser puzzles of games like Talos Principle and featuring grid-puzzle-panels that are somewhat reminiscent of the Whittiness. But where TP is far more concerned with pretty environments and philosophical musings Photon Engeneer pushes the laster mechanic to its limits, introducing more and more complex elements and increasingly interesting puzzles. If you can look beyond the lack of polish and like this kind of puzzle mechanic this is definitely a recommendation. An kudos to the solo-dev for sticking to their own engine.
