Introduction
.In the early hours of the morning, around 5 a.m., there is sometimes a thick fog.
In addition, there is a story about people who went out on a foggy day and never came back.
People are not sure if this is true or not.
However, most people in this town do not go out on foggy mornings.
She, who lives in a log house in the mountains, loved such fog.
On foggy mornings, she always goes for a walk.
But she doesn't really know why she likes fog.
So, although she likes fog, she does not like foggy mornings.
She wanders around in the fog as if she is attracted and driven by something she does not understand.
Character
.The main character is a girl who likes fog.
She lives with her family in a log cabin in the mountains.
She loves this house and the fog, where she has lived since she was a child, as much as she loves the smell of the trees, the garden with its small flowers, and the forest she can see from her window.
But soon she will be moving out of this house.
She doesn't want to forget the time she spent here - she thinks as she walks through the fog.

"Piano at 5 a.m." is a text adventure game.
A girl leaves her house at 5 a.m. and encounters various things in the fog, and she always chooses one of two options to proceed.
Depending on the choice, the four values of "Drowsiness," "Thirst," "Madness," and "Charge" will be increased or decreased.
If you can make a choice so that these four do not reach their maximum limit and reach 8:00 a.m., the story will progress.

Art top-tier, but the story is way too disjointed, even by stream-of-consciousness standards. You're just handed a super vague plot and two halfbaked characters, making it really hard to get invested before it abruptly ends, it feels more like an experimental project. Also, Endings 2 and 3 make zero sense, major [i]deus ex machina[/i] vibes. [spoiler][b]Expectation:[/b] [i]Alice in Wonderland[/i] but in the fog, featuring a protag who just really loves the foggy aesthetic. [b]Reality:[/b] A V-liver simp fantasizing over a picture book about the VTuber's IRL persona, and surprise... the girl is actually into [i]ossan[/i]. The script explicitly drops the word "romance," but there's absolutely zero emotional buildup. "午前五時にピアノを弾く" is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This is a simple Choose Your Own Adventure e-book with a couple of meaningless "stats" that don't really have much influence on how the book plays out. Nobody ever read a Choose Your Own Adventure and then said "wow, what a fun game I just played". The plot, of course, is all about the authors imaginary girlfriend/waifu who goes wandering around in a foggy forest under some kind of silly motivation. Isn't it strange how many of these e-books are all about the authors imaginary girlfriend? This is no different.
