Overall rating 8/10 Overview: Pioneers of the coast gives the people a "sandbox" style approach to the beloved game of Catan. While you can play the game how it is normally played, Pioneers of the Coast allows the players to create their own maps with minimal restrictions. Encouraging a fun and new experience every game you play. A Weekly map is a nice touch to always have something to try once you open the game. The random events can be fun but can lead to you having a bad game, I'd advise using them in larger maps. I won't sit here and say the game does not have bugs but none that are drastic and outright game breaking. I would highly recommend this game to anybody who enjoys strategy-style board game or is in need of a new game to play with your friends.5 found this helpful
A unique take on an established board game with some interesting twists. Game runs well and seems very fair as a free game with only one person needing the DLC for extra content. Lots of fun to be had.5 found this helpful
