An excellent old-school game with pixel graphics, simple controls, and a decent soundtrack. The gameplay is straightforward, and there are a few achievements that unlock naturally as you progress. It's an extremely easy game, and I didn’t encounter any real challenges while playing. You shoot down enemy planes, dodge their attacks, and eventually face off against a boss battle that adds a bit of difficulty. Overall, a fun little airplane arcade shooter—nothing groundbreaking, but enjoyable for what it is!18 found this helpful
Let me just start by saying this game is very complex. Enemies spawn in waves of 2 to 5 (or 1 unique type) in a set lane and then will cycle out to a new lane. You can get hearts, upgrade your weapon, get a slow-time useable item, or get a score bonus. You fly through until you complete the level and then continue to the next level with base upgrades. There are 3 "biomes" and 3 levels per biome, making for 9 levels total. The most threatening enemy is the type that shoots an aimed shot at the player. There are a few methods that can be used to evade the shot, but the player hitbox is so large and the shot comes out so fast that you are likely to just get hit and die anyway. You can try to pre-emptively bait the attack one way then strafe the other, you can try to just move up and down while sitting at the edge of the screen, or the most effective method I found, simply get up near them and shoot them before they can fire. The problem with this method is that unless you have a weapon upgrade, the inaccuracy of starting weapon might cause your shot to miss and you'll get shot with little hope of evasion. At first I thought the slow time mechanic was unusable, but it is actually decen…18 found this helpful

Plasma Attack, developed by RENFALC and published by khukhrovr, is a compact arcade-style shooter that channels the spirit of classic top-down space combat into a focused, pixel-art package. Designed around fast reflexes, simple controls, and escalating enemy waves, it embraces a stripped-down philosophy that prioritizes mechanical clarity over narrative ambition. The result is a straightforward shoot-’em-up experience built for players who appreciate the purity of dodging patterns and unleashing plasma fire in rapid succession. The gameplay loop is immediate and easy to grasp. Players control a lone spacecraft equipped with a basic energy weapon, navigating confined battle arenas while waves of enemies flood the screen. Movement is fluid and responsive, allowing precise weaving between incoming projectiles. As encounters intensify, bullet density increases, requiring sharper positioning and constant awareness. The core appeal lies in this rhythm: avoid damage, maintain pressure, and survive long enough to face increasingly formidable adversaries. Power-ups add a layer of progression within each run. Destroyed enemies drop upgrades that enhance firepower, spread shot capabilities…
It's surprisingly kind of hard for the type of game it is. While I wish it were a bit longer, the various power ups and ability to use slow motion, along with the bosses and general design made it worth playing.
Plasma Attack delivers an adrenaline-fueled gaming experience that left me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. As a gaming enthusiast, I was thoroughly impressed by the game's intense action, innovative mechanics, and captivating storyline. The gameplay in Plasma Attack is nothing short of electrifying. The combination of fast-paced combat, strategic decision-making, and visually stunning effects creates a gaming experience that is both challenging and immensely satisfying. Maneuvering through waves of enemies while harnessing the power of plasma weapons is a thrilling experience that keeps you hooked for hours.
