About Plug Me

Plug Me is a tricky puzzle platform where the timer is a physical object in the game world!

The city of Plug Me is falling off, and to save it you must get from one side of the level to the plug at the end, in order to recharge the loading bar.
Plugman is the only one able to recharge this massive green bar that goes across the middle of the screen and quickly runs out of power.
You are able to walk on the green parts of this bar as a platform, but you must be careful not to fall off as the power is drained.
You will die a lot for sure, but...
Thanks to the fast respawn and the help of both Evinrude (wich will remove one of the obstacles after you die too many times) and the Death streak mechanic (that will slow down the bar), the challenge will be constantly balanced!
  • 50+ Levels In 5 Different Worlds.
  • 6 Bosses.
  • Hard Mode Unlockable.
  • Collectable Batteries and Timer Medals.
  • Help System After Certain Amount Of Deaths.
  • 3 Unlockable Characters.

✦ AI summary

Plug Me is a low-cost precision platformer with an interesting gimmick and cycle-based level design that appeals to players seeking a challenge, but it's hampered by significant technical issues including unresponsive controls, inconsistent jump physics, and collision detection problems. While some appreciate the straightforward concept and find it fun for a couple hours, others find the execution frustratingly flawed and recommend playing better-made alternatives instead.

TLDR; wouldn't be worth playing if it was free Interesting enough of a concept but horrible execution on basically every aspect possible. The jump physics are some of the worst and most inconsistent i've ever seen in a platformer, levels are generally more annoying than fun, and the hard mode couldn't be less unoriginal and uninteresting. There are hundreds of better made and more fun platformers on steam, go play any of those instead.

Disclaimer: My scores/reviews are almost always based on having bought the game at close to the "lowest historical price" on steam at time of purchase. Quick score: 5/5 Notes: Great game, If you like this you should also check out 10 second ninja

A simple precision platformer with a unique gimmick. Plug Me provides a couple hours of challenging content. There's 52 levels, each with a "normal" and a "hard" version. The levels are all single-screen and they make frequent use of cycles. If cycles are not your thing, then this game probably will not, otherwise it's a fun platformer to dive into. My only issue with this game is that the soundtrack lacks variety, everything else is good. Most difficult achievement in the game is a no-death run of all 52 levels. For anyone that's looking for a challenge, this achievement can easily increase game's playtime to over 15 hours. Recommended.

The concept is new and refreshing, but the controls are poorly implemented. On every level I played I had moments where the game suddenly did not respond anymore to input from the d-pad and I had to release the button and press it again. I had this issue with 2 different controllers. Also, when you have to wait until a stack of boxes drops down and you jump while the stack of boxes is falling, you will get caught in between the boxes and get crushed. Sloppy programming.
