About Political Animals
Political Animals is an election simulation game set within a world populated by corrupt crocodiles and meritocratic mice. In a political contest where corruption is always around the corner, find out just how incorruptible you really are. Do you have the integrity of Mousey or the ruthlessness of Croccy? Will you fight your campaign on issues and in the best interests of the people, or will you succumb to the easier path of bribery and intimidation? Will you win votes...or will you buy them? 
Each turn you spend logistics to move your candidate and their staff around the political landscape to whip up popular support. Your choice of staff affects your strategy! A lawyer can settle your scandals, but a preacher can energize the population. Raise funds from the wealthy, give gifts to political patrons, or hold rallies to build grass-roots support from the electorate. Along the way, expect to encounter scandals both real and fabricated as well as random events that test your moral mettle.
This new turn-based strategy game is developed by Philippines-based studio Squeaky Wheel and published by Democracy-3 developers Positech Games. Menus were mixed up with different languages and every bit of text in the game said "Not found". Tried to sort it out for a couple of hours and could not. Verified game files, reinstalled... looked around on the internet for a long time to try to rectify this. Seems completely broken. Waste of time.3 found this helpful
I randomized EVERYTHING at the start, including difficulty. Lost with 44% of the vote to 44% of the vote, 352k to 354k votes. It was well worth the playthrough and I can't wait for the next one. Considering the fact that the whole campaign only lasted 2 hours, it was complex enough. Maybe not the best strategy game, but it'll be hard to find a better strategy that requires less of your time.3 found this helpful
So, I was going to boot this game to do one of my stream-to-completion marathons I do with friends. Unfortunately, this game is literally unplayable in its current state. Every single thing in this game is "not found: <thing> description for en-us". I will update this as soon as I find a fix or the developer patches this issue.2 found this helpful
