Correct pricing for an evening's entertainment. Once you get into the swing of things, it's easy enough to get all the achievements, which I really like! But pay attention, because while the gameplay is easy, there are a few subtle nods to realism and to a couple ways that cats are different from humans. I came out of it *really* thinking about how economies rise and fall, which was *definitely* not advertised for the game. 10/102 found this helpful
I honestly love it. It started cute but then you care, and that’s when it turns dark. I enjoyed it and had some good laughs and gasps at the same time.2 found this helpful
It's neat. You can 100% it in like 30 minutes1 found this helpful
Got boring fast. It seems easy to play and that's because it is. It's a brainless game for brainless moments of the day. There really is no meaning other than how long can you drag it out. Being a financially secure person, the choices I made weren't hard to be fiscally responsible, which means my game ran for a very long time. It's excessive and repetitive, and as I said, if you're financially responsible then it can go on forever. I got all but two achievements within less than an hour, and that's simply because I played honest and didn't take bribes or miss an election. Had I known those were considered achievements, I would have snagged them in the end, but I was finished after dragging it out. I'm glad the game was cheap, and I got it during the winter sale so it was even cheaper. There's nothing fun about this game. The artwork at best is good for line-art, and that's about where it stops. From a programing point of view, I get it. Maybe it was a lot of work coding this thing. Cute concept. Just not enough game.
Cute game with a dark twist. When Meowy can’t afford food, it plays video games because they’re cheaper. I guess the politicians must be gamers since they sure know how to keep Meowy happy.
In 100 years: 1. Government slashes salaries by 40% (from 50p down to 30p). 2. Political candidates openly hand out bribes—complete with tax receipts. 3. Entertainment prices skyrocket by 443.75% (16p → 87p). 4. A “life upgrade” for 650p and its a painting on the wall. 5. A year after losing their spouse, widows are already remarried. 6. Meow Meow, Purrr Purr, Meow, hiss - Honesty 20% Realism: 10/10
