Prince of Qin

Budget Chinese version of Baldur's Gate. Semi-open world, many areas are unlocked from the beginning, some locked behind main quest progression. Plot itself was a nice change from typical heroic-fantasy games, dialogues are often funny (but I doubt it was dev's intention) and try to educate about morality/ethics. I've tried to do all side quests and beating the game took me about ~30 hours. Character development incorporates dozens of skills per every available class, our party can count up to five heroes, that can be found throughout our journey. Game offers variety of items and interesting five-element system works in a rock-paper-scissor fashion (so water beats fire, fire beats metal etc.) but there is additional mechanic that lets items with certain element unlock 'hidden' properties of another item with corresponding element (for example water ring could unlock additional power in wood weapon). Despite things I've just mentioned combat is rather repetitive due to low variety in enemies, mostly we are fighting humans or animals and just few monsters (about five total - including unique ones), that makes the setting more 'real' as the fantasy part is really limited - which is…

i got this game for somewhere around 30 cents and i was worried it wouldnt turn on at all lol unfortunately but the intro doesnt play at all and i had to skip it. overall the game runs smoothly on windows 10. i was delighted to know there is also english dub to this game
