A word from the developer...

Not enough lady-meat in your RPGs?

Project Skyward is a love-letter to classic JRPGs and the futanari fandom. It is a story about an air-headed futa adventurer who is thrust into a realm at war. As an aspiring hero, you'll be expected to rise and meet the coming threat. All the quest-giving MILFs are counting on you after all...

Unsheathe your blade!
Journey to slay the evil Demon Queen Eraanthe.

Project Skyward, developed and published by Skyward Foundry, is an indie fantasy RPG that combines classic turn-based gameplay with sandbox elements and an extensive selection of optional activities. Set in the world of Mea, the game follows Yoshiko as she leaves behind an ordinary life and becomes entangled in a much larger adventure filled with mysterious locations, dangerous enemies, and memorable encounters. While the title is marketed toward a mature audience, it quickly becomes apparent that the developers aimed to create a complete role-playing experience rather than relying exclusively on its adult themes. The game's strongest feature is the amount of content packed into its world. Players are encouraged to explore towns, uncover hidden treasures, complete side quests, and tackle numerous dungeons spread throughout the map. Exploration rarely feels like an afterthought, as there are collectibles to discover and environmental puzzles that reward curiosity. The open-ended structure gives players the freedom to progress at their own pace, making it easy to spend hours pursuing side activities before returning to the main storyline. Combat adopts a traditional turn-based appr…

There may be a lot of value to the narrative, or the puzzles, or the sheer content of this game, but the potential of that unfortunately pales in comparison to the absolutely infuriating basic functions of the game which you interact with on a minute to minute basis. Being an RPGMaker game, everything feels sticky and like it takes twice as long as it needs to. This is unavoidable, but the dialogue and combat play way too hard into this handicap, rather than trying to work around it. The first major pain point is the over-verbosity of the dialogue and overuse of dialogue effects (which are unskippable), even on repeating and unimportant dialogues. I hate complaining about too much writing, but when a single line takes a full 2 or 3 seconds to load, it is imperative that you trim wherever possible. One introductory dialogue for a character I assume to be ultimately unimportant took 40 seconds to get through while using the skip function. The second major issue is the OHK mechanic which just removes a character from combat and has absolutely zero counterplay. It adds nothing to combat. There is zero strategic value to it, it just exists and sometimes nukes your prog…
Project Skyward
[b]
Game Introduction
1.Game Overview:Players will take on the role of a simple-minded futa adventurer wandering the shattered continent of Miatnum, where various factions are at war. With the rise of the Demon Queen Ela Anser, Yoshiko must unite allies, master her unique powers, and explore ancient ruins filled with secrets and allure. Along the way, she forges deep friendships with sexy mature women, mischievous monster girls, and other companions. The game constructs a world filled with war and fantasy—the continent of Miatnum. The main storyline revolves around the Futa adventurer Yoshiko, who explores this war-torn continent, searching for lost ruins and battling various factions. The game features a diverse cast of characters, from sexy mature women to mysterious monster girls, each with a compelling backstory. Interacting with these characters is not merely about advancing the plot, but also about revealing their complex personalities. Yoshiko, as the protagonist, is both humorous and slightly ditzy, embarking on a challenging and self-discovering adventure in this treacherous world. While the dialogue can sometimes be lengthy, the ov…

I haven't finished the game yet, but I'm several hours in and, overall, I think it's a great game. That said, there are a few areas that can be frustrating. The map isn't always easy to read, so it's possible to get lost while trying to figure out where to go next. Once I got past that learning curve, things became much smoother. Another issue is the card game mechanic. Instead of simply suggesting that you play the card game to unlock certain content, the game sometimes forces you into card battle encounters. If you're not interested in that system, it can feel a little annoying. The biggest problem I've run into so far was with the witch in the Haunted Wood. I got completely stuck and couldn't find a way to progress. In the end, I had to reload an earlier save and tell the soldier to take her away without investigating further. If she was innocent, I guess I'll never know... LOL. Other than those issues, I think this is a game that rewards players who enjoy exploring, doing side quests, and taking their time. If you're willing to put in a little time every day over several weeks or months, there's a lot to enjoy here. I'm still playing, but I can see myself needing a break i…
