Project WAND: Festival Of Futas

I'm not huge on visual novels myself, but I still very much enjoyed the little I've played so far I've been following this artist for a very long time now and am absolutely in love with their work, both sfw and nsfw. Even if its outside of my normal genre, I was absolutely planning on buying just to support the team. So far I've only clicked through a few routes and skimmed text, but am absolutely planning on sitting down and doing a full playthrough. The art and voice talent are worth the price alone, so I'm very happy!

This is the worst porn game I've ever played. Allow me to explain the basics: this is a text based wannabe dungeon-crawler, which reuses a handful of background images for areas that don't really match what's going-on in the text. To overcome obstacles in this text based game, you have to spend your MAXIMUM HP to accomplish several tasks. Random events will cost you MAXIMUM HP points and if you are at 1 HP it is game over. There are almost no ways to heal. There are many routes which mainly focus on sex scenes with a character of your choice, but don't expect much penetrative sex- it is usually just handjobs and stuff like that. I could not beat the game to see if any other sex scenes come after that. The objective of the game- which you do not know until you complete a route- is to gather all the relics hidden in the gamen AND defeat the final boss. The problem is that there are no hints to tell you where or what these relics are. I don't even know how many you need, and I've "beaten" the final boss like 7 times on different routes. Man, what a bummer. I like the art style and I'm always down for hot futa characters, but this game's just frustrating. It would be one thing if it was just a plain visual novel with many dead ends. However, this game insists on including stats that are necessary to proceed past certain obstacles, but then introduces ways to permanently lose stats. You could be dooming yourr run 4 rooms in taking a stat penalty and not know it until room 12 where all your options now lead to a game over. Worst of all, HP is used as a resource, but there are turn-based battles where your HP is permanently reduced. My first run was doomed when I just barely beat the first fight with 1HP remaining, because the ghost horses only targeted the main character. I just don't understand why they made it so frustrating and RNG-based to get on with the story and see any of the h-scenes I bought the game for. Maybe get this game once there's a complete guide on Steam for what every event does and which paths can get you to the end, but even then RNG could ruin runs. Basically, this game's a pain in the ass and not the fun kind you want from giant futa "wands."

The game has multiple endings. Game is very short, no animation, only moans. And yes, this is futa game. Cant get the true ending, so cant recommend.

Yes the game have some problems and it's not very polished. but it feel good to finally have such beautifull artworks and the story is quite good.
