This might just be the best game ever

"Red Tie Runner" is an incredibly lazy 2D retro/stick figure endless runner, and despite the sheer popularity of Flappy Bird (which has better graphics than this) on mobile phones, for some reason this deficient endless runner did not go down very well at all on Steam. This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy". Yes, contemporary 3D graphics take a lot of time and effort to create. That doesn't mean it's okay not to bother! Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason. And that reason is not so they can look at lazy, phoned-in half efforts like this. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 8 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This …

Now to be clear this game is very mixed for me, I just like the idea that someone can say "this is my favourite game" which unfortunately it isn't. This also is a free game, so that's cool. Now, the game itself is... alright. This is a 2D platformer for sure, however it isn't challenging until the end where it picks up by a lot. Or maybe I suck at video games. Both options are equally plausible. A big problem are indeed hitboxes, sometimes I die because of em, but they could have been worse, like Unfair Mario's hitboxes are god awful. There are some interesting mechanics, but they aren't used as much as I would've liked. Other than that, masochistic platformer basically (perfect for me). I recommend this to people who have nothing better to do or hate themselves (although this isn't that hard until, again, the end). Um. Has potential.
