Singularity Runner is a wonderfully creative and free-flowing game that blends quality design with a thrilling sense of freedom. The gameplay offers smooth, fast-paced action with endless opportunities for exploration. The unique art style and engaging mechanics keep things fresh, ensuring plenty of fun each time you play. However, some may find the difficulty spikes a bit frustrating, and the pacing can feel uneven at times. "Singularity Runner" is a poorly made 2D retro pixel (sigh) one button arcade runner from the "I can't believe it's not a mobile app" section of the Steam store... a valueless experience more shallow than your average 1990's Flash game. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic.
