Surprisingly fun for an intern game. No English settings so couldn't read Japanese but visuals help with how to play which was helpful. The game itself is very simple but very engaging, and also provides a certain level of difficulty. Also tested the game on the steam deck, which was on of the reason for trying this, and it works, no problems have been encountered thus far, but overall, brilliant game. Its made for the deck. Unfortunately, its very short, but I do hope they work on this more and make it a proper game.

"Reilla ~Sweets Adventure~" is a badly made, clunky 2D retro platformer (but at least it's not pixel "art"), where you guide some cutesy character through a confectionary themed set of platformer levels. Yeah, I can see why this failed to garner any attention from gamers... it's awful. There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay. The language of bad games is universal. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs to pretend they're mobile phones or Commodore 64s. Insultingly, the developer insists that you should play this with a console peasant children's toy gamepad instead of KB+M. You cannot play this without a console peasant children's toy. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're designing games for. It's the responsibility of the developer to ensure the game runs well on the platform they're selling it on, with the primary peripherals that PC gamers use. Not every "free" game really is.
