About Rescue Team: Danger from Outer Space!
Stop an alien threat from wreaking untold devastation on Earth! After a meteor strikes Florida and releases strange spores, weird plants begin to grow and destroy entire cities! Worse, the pieces of the meteorite are emitting a bizarre form of radiation that reduces people to a stupor! Only the Rescue Team has the skills to deal with this menace from outer space!
You are the team's leader as it deals with the aftermath of the meteor's impact. As you rebuild cities, you'll rescue trapped civilians, save frightened animals and capture crooked thieves. You'll also enlist an old nemesis who holds the secret to developing an antidote for the radiation!
But even this mastermind won't be enough to save mankind from a future tangled up in alien creepers. That will be up to you and your team, which must plan strategically as it races against the clock to remove obstacles, gather resources and complete thrilling quests!
The meteorite is no friendly E.T. and the vines can do more damage than kudzu. Can you stop this danger from the deepest reaches of the cosmos before it's too late?

Rescue towns and their citizens from meteorite damage and alien plants. Rescue Team: Danger from Outer Space was developed by GameMixer for Alawar Entertainment. A colourful, fun time management game that will have you rescuing people by air lifts, boats, planes, helicopters, and trains. You will also be rescuing some native wildlife such as pandas and kangaroos. A meteorite has landed on earth causing destruction and omitting spores that become creeping vines that cover buildings. The story unfolds over 50 levels (plus 15 bonus levels). There are delightful dog houses to build for rescue dogs to be added to your team. Highly trained, the rescue dogs are able to jump into the water and save people, dig through ruins and scare away large snakes. There are three modes for play, including Relaxed with no time limit. Stars are given at the end of each level and can be used in the in game store for permanent power ups. Tasks for each level are clearly listed at the top right of the screen and each level has a detailed guide on how to complete the level if you get stuck (the bonus levels can be tricky, even on relaxed setting). This is another great addition to the Rescue Team series. Each iteration adds something new to the familiar genre. The storyline is very simplistic but you are not playing the game for the storyline. It is just a nice easy and fun experience to jump in the Rescue Team series. I highly recommend it when it comes on sale.1 found this helpful
Enjoyable game - good variety. There was an issue with one of the minigames but it seems to be fixed now.
Nice, simple and relaxing game, with plenty of achievements However, the bonus level quest to save npcs, even on RELAXED difficulty, made me stress as I can't click fast enough to stop them dying. Sadly, I alt+f4'd and deleted - missing those last five achievements, because I couldn't get past the level. :sadpandaface: Still - It's a good game for a few hours and worth picking up.
I enjoy all the games in this franchise.
A fun distraction to spend you time running around, graphics are clean and pleasing and I even could play 99% of the levels on my 12 yr old laptop!
