When the villains do a 180 and then do another 180... lol

Introduction
Rescue Team: Legion of Destruction is a time management game developed by Game Mixer and published by Alawar Casual. It is the 20th game in the Rescue Team series. (It's hard to believe there are that many games. :o) As the rescue team is going about their business, they're suddenly faced with a dire emergency. A supervillain called Dr. Armageddon has brainwashed vital members of the team who used to be villains and turned them back into their nefarious selves, ordering them to cause destruction and mayhem to various cities and whatnot. Can the rescue team save their brainwashed members and turn them back to their side and stop Dr. Armageddon? As for the gameplay, it's pretty much the same as in the previous games. You can choose from among the usual three levels: relaxed, easy, or hard. (For review purposes, I chose to play on easy/normal mode.) Each level has a few objectives to complete, which can range from rescuing stranded civilians to stopping fires. Depending on how quickly all the objectives are completed, you can earn up to 3 stars. Stars are used to purchas…

Yet another ridiculously ruthless villain who you rehabilitate by clearing up his mess. Even though the premise of all Rescue Team games is wildly absurd, they are really fun to play. Same great mechanics, using past villains as heroes. I thought this one was a touch easier than the last and achievements seem more reasonable than in past games in the series. I enjoyed it thoroughly and will insta-buy the next in the series.

As a rule, I like the format of the Rescue Team games (I have played them all). This game does NOT follow that familiar format. If you are looking for the type of Rescue Team games where you build/improve/rebuild the lots yourself, this is NOT the game for you. In this game, when you play a level you will find that all of the sites are pre-built; you cannot choose what you want to build on the lots or tear down existing buildings. The screen content is also much smaller than the past games. Instead of moving within the area you are building to see new areas appear as you hit crossroads, everything is all on the screen at the very beginning - all built for you. It is so much more difficult to see. Most importantly, I do not like this "let's do the thinking for the player and build up the sites for them" attitude. Hey developers, if your games were popular in the format you had, don't change that format (marketing tip #1). If you want to try a new type of game that has everything already built up release it under another series name to see if catches on. Personally, I like the older games. If they continue to develop new Rescue Team games in this format, they have lost…

Rescue Team: Legion of Destruction from Game Mixer continues the long-running time management series with a clear focus on refinement rather than reinvention, delivering a structured and methodical experience that leans heavily on efficiency, planning, and quick decision-making. It places players once again in charge of a disaster response crew tasked with restoring damaged environments, clearing obstacles, and rescuing stranded civilians, all under the pressure of limited resources and time constraints. The result is a game that feels immediately familiar to genre veterans, but still manages to remain engaging through its steady pacing and escalating complexity. The core gameplay loop revolves around directing workers to perform specific tasks across each level, such as clearing debris, gathering materials, repairing structures, and unlocking new pathways. Every action requires resources, and those resources must be carefully managed to maintain progress. What gives the game its challenge is not the complexity of individual actions, but the order in which they are executed. Deciding whether to prioritize resource collection, path clearing, or rescue operations becomes a constant …

Another fun entry in the Rescue Team series. If you've played and enjoyed the other games you will like this one too. Legion of Destruction plays the same as all the other Rescue Team entries with a fun new story that introduces a new character. Recommended!

Like all the previous ones, with minor updates. A great chill game for a low price. However, the radio/two-way audio in this game is extremely annoying. It's unfortunately very loud, and you can't turn it off without disabling all the sound.
