Retro Abyss : Last Wish Of The Game

This game is not what it seems at all. It looks like a bit of a bullet hell, or maybe a dodge centered ARPG. It's a game for kids. It was a game for kids. It's a game for kids who have forgotten that spark of joy that we had that made us adore the free time we had on adventures and quests. Of pushing past those walls and seeing those great bosses and stories, before we had to grow up. Remember those games of your youth? They still remember you, and above all, this is a game about them, and how much they loved being with you. So, go back, say hi to your old stories. Remember that spark just for a moment in the Retro Abyss. It is worth every minute. Just stick with it. It takes a moment to get really rolling and unfurl the story it wants to tell.

I played the mobile game a lot, and grab this when it was released. My only complaint I had with the port was the controls, and that was patch in a couple of days, this game is a steal for a dollar.

(better formatted review at the bottom. this part just contains some extra info about my personal experience) this game, it's BORING it's JUST THE SAME THING over and over again. like when first playing, you just go through levels with the same, sitting entities, and the bosses who are much the same. i only died like once or twice outside in the first gamemode. especially that jellyfish boss in the 2nd gamemode. gosh it was just so boring that i quit "oh you killed the boss 10 times since he has 10 health bars and lost one character? too bad! DO IT AGAIN. ANOTHER 10 TIMES" i dont even understand the "bullet hell" part, i feel like im the bullet hell Who knows maybe its only bullet hell starting at the jellyfish part. OH DONT GET ME STARTED WITH ITS WEIRD SPINNING ATTACK WHERE IT GIVES THOSE RAYS. who knows maybe i needed to move alongside them OH YEAH this isnt a roguelite, sure it is, but this is a RESOURCE/ENEMY MANAGEMENT GAME i have to manage every single enemy and chest! the items DO DESPAWN and since the enemies respawn ALL AT ONCE and FAST, i have to manage everything so i dont lose out on any money, healing, etc. oh yeah, the items can fall outside the world border! not ev…

I bought this game as i fluke i don't even remember buying it and just played it why while trying organize steam library by chance but to the developer of this wonderful game all i have to say is thank you thank you making this game thank for nostalgia thank you the happy memories my short time beating this game filled me with it was an honor this game has heart and im glad for the passion put into it.
