About REVOLT 1917

Inspired by the works of T.E. Lawrence, enter the world of the ARAB REVOLT. Fight and survive the Turkish attack on Yenbo of 1916, trek the uninhabitable expanse of the Sinai deserts, search for and destroy the railways of the Hejaz and fight alongside the soldiers of the revolt to launch the climactic 1917 Battle of Akaba.

REVOLT 1917 is an indie first person shooter set in the World War I Middle East. Blending survival and military shooter elements into several vast locales, REVOLT 1917 features gameplay elements such as:

A MULTI-CHAPTER SINGLEPLAYER DESERT CAMPAIGN
-Follow in the footsteps of the Arab tribal leaders as you explore the history and lands of the Arab Revolt. Play over multiple key locations in the events of the time with each chapter promising a new gameplay focus.

A FULLY DYNAMIC DAY/NIGHT/WEATHER/TEMPERATURE SYSTEM
-Plan expeditions carefully to not fall victim to the perils of extreme desert heat or an unsuspecting sandstorm.

AN IN DEPTH TIME AND CALENDAR SYSTEM
-Launch attacks with hourly precision utilizing a full 24 hour time cycle and time sensitive objectives.

LARGE 2 SQ. KILOMETER ENVIRONMENTS
-Locales include city interiors, small desert villages scattered across desert dunes, narrow rocky canyons and coastal ports; each forcing a differing play style.

A COMPLEX HEALTH/STAMINA/HYDRATION SURVIVAL SYSTEM
-Simple on the surface; complex behind the scenes. Every degree of temperature, second spent sprinting through the heat, varying time of day, etc. will affect the player's characteristics. As you fall to dehydration and exhaustion your vision will blur and your agility will diminish.

indie FPS set in World War I in the Middle East, where you play a campaign inspired by the Arab Uprising and must also survive the harsh desert conditions. ✅Survival system tracking temperature, dehydration, and fatigue ❌Terrible graphics ❌Very poor optimization, even though I have a good computer ❌Very poor weapon animations no decent reloading or shooting animations ❌Empty world, large maps, but little content and little to do ❌This game should be free! ❌❌ Verdict: [b] Terrible [/b], [strike] Bad [/strike], [strike] Mediocre [/strike], [strike] Decent [/strike], [strike] Good [/strike] , [strike] Very Good [/strike] (Rating scale for short games, retro indie simulator games and similar) [quote]If you'd like to see more of my reviews, you can find them on my curator page:[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45994324/admin/reviews_manage/]CuratorKingViking[/url] and on my group: [url=https://steamcommunity.com/groups/CuratorKingViking]GroupKingViking[/url] If you have any questions about my reviews, feel free to ask.I'm happy to answer them. You know that one friend in your class that really, REALLY wants to make a game, claiming he has this "awesome and unique idea for a game"? Well, he finally convinced some of his Programming 101 friends to help jumble together a game, and my god it's awful! Nothing is intuitive and you have to sit through agonizing text intros that aren't skippable and do a poor job at being straight to the point, even history buffs won't enjoy this game.

Game isn't even worth $.99. Keys don't perform as they are supposed. Keep going around in circles, can't get out of the area you first enter. Steam should not even offer this game. it is an embarrassment, Don't bother downloading even if it's free.
