2D side-scrolling shooter focused mainly on arcade-style high-score chasing ✅8 different maps ✅3 characters to choose from ❌The game is very boring; all you do here is walk left and right and shoot, with no objectives or progression system. ❌You can’t crouch to dodge shots ❌No music ❌The price is too high ❌The graphics aren’t exactly mind-blowing either ❌Lack of variety in weapons; there’s only one weapon ❌❌❌ Verdict: [b] Terrible [/b], [strike] Bad [/strike], [strike] Mediocre [/strike], [strike] Decent [/strike], [strike] Good [/strike] , [strike] Very Good [/strike] (Rating scale for short games, retro indie simulator games and similar) [quote]If you'd like to see more of my reviews, you can find them on my curator page:[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45994324/admin/reviews_manage/]CuratorKingViking[/url] and on my group: [url=https://steamcommunity.com/groups/CuratorKingViking]GroupKingViking[/url] If you have any questions about my reviews, feel free to ask.I'm happy to answer them. The Lost Battalion: All Out Warfare, developed by Jake Olson and published by My Way Games, is a small-scale side-scrolling shooter that attempts to capture the grit and chaos of World War I through the lens of old-school arcade action. It’s a simple premise rooted in nostalgic design, evoking the feel of classic 2D shooters while dressed in the grim aesthetic of early twentieth-century warfare. The concept has promise—a compact, accessible shooter about a forgotten platoon fighting their way through impossible odds—but its execution often feels limited by minimal scope and dated mechanics. From the moment you start, it’s clear that The Lost Battalion embraces simplicity over complexity. The game’s presentation is barebones, with pixelated environments, rudimentary animations, and straightforward visual effects. It doesn’t aim for historical realism, but…

Fun game, could you please add a sensitivity option? However, the game is a poor version of Metal Slug. What could improve it is using that game as a reference, which would make it something unique.
It could be nice like old Duke Nukem games. But its so annoying when enemy bullets are going through all walls and yours aren't. A plus is, it has potential nice maps but it's so pathetic that u can't use covers ... Just sit and die rofl
