....Any positive reviews on this game are lowkey BS. The game itself has a lot of potential and I enjoyed the first one... This game is dead and broken. No updates. Freeplay is broken and you have to continuously restart until you get utilities close to eachother which can take.... forever. I only have 7.5 hours and enjoyed the scenarios. They are fun.... 34.99 for a game that is broken and not being fixed. Check discussion board before buying :).10 found this helpful
The developer are frauds. Stay away from this piece of junk.6 found this helpful
The first game was a masterpiece. They could have just updated the graphics for the second game and released it and it would have been great. However, they changed the gameplay mechanics and the loop is just not fun.2 found this helpful
This game is not with out issues, but is very fun once you understand it. I've played it for a while and will stop for a few months and always come back. I have not found another game that scratches the itch, I have tried other management sims, TF2 & CS2, they are different in their own way.1 found this helpful
Honestly I had played the first part, kinda liked it and was excited for part 2. Let me say, it lasted 26 minutes to show me the opposite.1 found this helpful
I originally didn't buy this game on release after I saw the reviews, however I am glad i gave it a try. The game is good, but it does require a different mindset from Rise of Industry 1. The contract system adds a different challenge in a genre that often allows the player to endlessly grow without any pushback. Instead on this game, you can lose a profitable contract, or a buying contract that you rely on, forcing you to rethink how you build your factories with long term planning in mind, you cant just endlessly spam the same mindless thing like in many other games. The game definetly focuses more on the factory layout and resource management rather than logistics, which is fine in my opinion. Too many factory tycoon games devolve into transport tycoon with extra steps. I didn't encounter any performance issues myself, so I can't speak on that end. Visually the game has a nice style andn flair, with the buildings and UI being reminscent of 80s movies and aesthetic. If I have a criticism is that the game could have some more QOL updates, for example when you setup a contract it tells you how many of a resource will you buy/sell on average per day, but you cant easily see the…1 found this helpful
