What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players have mixed feelings about this VR action movie experience. Supporters appreciate it as a novelty 180-degree VR film with recognizable actors and decent production value for demonstrating VR to newcomers, though some acknowledge its limited interactivity and short runtime. Critics fault the film for weak storytelling, poor acting, awkward camera angles, inconsistent 3D quality (appearing to be post-production conversion), and overall execution that falls short of its ambitious premise, with some questioning whether it justifies its price.
i loved this, i cant wait for part 2
A 20 minute professionally made 180 degree movie. Not interactive so no need for controllers. Lot's of fun actually for those of us who grew up on The Six Million Dollar Man. This is one of those things that you use to show off your new VR headset to anyone who's new to the experience. Getting to be beside Michelle Rodriguez is also a huge bonus.
If you're an aspiring VR creator, maybe it would be good to watch this as an example of bad practice.
JUST NO!!! the name is abused for this piece of ♥♥♥♥...camera angles all wierd and wrong, story is something a 5 year old could have made...the acting is on a 1-10 a 2 at best and the 360 degree movie...lol its a tv screen in a empty movie theater... DO NOT BUY !!!
It was an attempt at making an action packed VR movie with some popular names, but really felt like something that you would find from some YouTube team that wanted to make a first person movie. It has a cool concept, but parts of it just didn’t even fit in and the 3D aspect of it is post production. So, some of it doesn’t even feel like it is in 3D. Would be amazing if they took lessons learned from this and used some of the new 3D cameras and made something even better.
Saw this on the Oculus Go Store, but a lot of the apps advertised cant be purchased anymore so got the steam version instead. Runs fine on Oculus Go with ALVR 18. Its fine as a short fun VR180 action movie for about 30 minutes. Like a DVD it has some extra features such as trailers, making of, commentary etc. It is a movie so there is no real user interaction, but its fine if you fancy a short action movie in VR3d
