Rogues Like Us is a hack n' slash rogue-lite unlike any other! Stand against a resurging threat by yourself or with a friend in local co-op. Collect weapons, armor, enchantments, and more by exploring dangerous locales and defeating powerful bosses! Stop the constructs, save the town.
The land of Arventous is perilous and combat is fast-paced, challenging you to quickly adapt to whatever stands in your way. Fairly short but decent game. Enjoyment was about a 6/10. No major glitches or bugs in my playthrough. Gameplay was consistent - no jank other than health/armor pickups being picky about how much you touch them before they are absorbed. Controls are simple but give a decent mix of combat strategy based on what weapons you find and what enemies you encounter. Combat in engaging enough to encourage playing past your first time beating the final boss. Took roughly 7 hours to beat the final boss for the first time and 12 hours to 100% all unlockables. Once you've beat the game once you've probably experienced all there is to it. 100%-ing was just something I did to extend my money's worth and is usually something I have no interest in. Perhaps a tad short if only beating the final boss but once you get all collectibles it feels like the perfect length.2 found this helpful
I played this on itch io years ago, and I loved it so much I never forgot about it. Couldn't believe my luck when I saw it on Steam! Super happy to be able to add it to the library. It's a simple but charming game made with love, and I can't recommend it more if you like challenging roguelikes that are all about timing your attacks and dodges.

This is a really good game- even if when I look at it, it feels like it shouldnt be. ive enjoyed playing this more than titles with very big budget.
