You're a wizard that runs through a dungeon, you must jump over gaps and kill whatever comes your way until you reach the exit. You can choose spells after each level, based on items laying around your 'base', a tavern. It would be ok, except that it's plagued with artificial difficulty barriers all over and is too expensive for what it is. Jumping over gaps is easy (you can even double jump) the spells are useful for sorting obstacles (flying, turning into a mouse, etc) but the problem is that almost always you will jump over a gap only to land straight on an enemy and die without any real possibility of avoiding it or killing it. You'll most likely kill it and die at the same time for some reason. Rogus is a definite bogus game. It was alright for like 5 minutes and then I was like I'll just get most of the achievements and move on. Majority of the time playing was starting the level and falling straight into a pit because you fall from the top of the map onto the ground. Problem is there was a large hole where it dropped me. Made this totally fun. Definitely not worth bothering with.
I got this game from the developer, who I met on a Warhammer Online Private Server. Pretty nice guy! The game is wholesome, and while simple, is quite addictive.
Fun Game. Extremely short and maybe a little overpriced. You will beat the game in a few minutes but you can keep going to get your highest score. If you’re looking for a very short but fun game that is difficult go for it, but it’s probably only worth $1-2
