Runic Defenders: Trials of Ascension is an action game where you can strengthen your characters by collecting XP materials. In this game, you have four different characters, each with their own unique abilities and weapons, fighting against enemies from all sides. You inflict damage on the enemies by using your characters' skills and earn XP materials by killing them. You can use these materials to upgrade your characters and make them more powerful.
With your team of characters, including a mage, a long-range fighter, and two close-range fighters, try to survive against enemies with different abilities, and strive for personal achievement. Use your unique skills, tactical moves, and strategic thinking to defeat other teams.

First off I just want to say that for 3 dollars, you can't really go wrong on much. However, this may be the exception.. 1. You level up WAY too fast to the point where it feels like sometimes you aren't even playing the game, you are just on constant item picking / levelling up. 2. With the above being said, there is also only about 6 different upgrades that you just keep stacking over and over. Damage / self heals / max health / More idle gold / Chests give more gold and one or two others. (Gold is used outside of your matches to buy the other characters, it has no use in game to my knowledge) 3. I started lagging about 30 minutes into my round and it just got worse and worse as the waves went on. 4. The monsters don't get any harder and you become basically immortal very quickly. I could literally just stand still and afk while doing things around my room between levelling up. I am unfortunately going to have to give this game a thumbs down as I will likely refund.2 found this helpful
