Plays a lot like Vampire Survivors and uses the same weapon evolution system where you combine the correct stat item + weapon to evolve it. Abilities all feel different enough and distinct too. Also reminds me of Halls of Torment just a little bit because it lets you choose different upgrade paths for the weapons. HoT does this better though because that game lets you make these choices during a run, allowing for more dynamic, reactive and tactical decisions, whereas in Orc you choose the upgrade paths from the main menu screen before a run. There are a few nice touches, like the powerup that turns you into a giant treasure chest that can Pacman eat everything on the screen (bosses included!). The chess peice boss in the Palace is well done as well. The games music tracks are catchy and decent too. I don't think this is a game that I'll keep playing to 100%. I enjoy it. ..possibly more than Vampire Survivors actually, though that's not saying much given that VS is a game I barely recommend despite it being a critical step for the genre. For such an obscure title, this is actually very good, far better than expected: it gets the thumbs up from …2 found this helpful
Perfectly reasonable survivors-like with incredibly grindy late-game achievements that really overstayed their welcome (25 runs per zone plus an awful lot of walking). Still fun for the most part. First 10 hours were really good.1 found this helpful
its a basic pixel graphics survivors like with some roguelite mechanics
Fun horde slayer with great style, if a little low on replayability. Fantastic sale pick up.
11/16/25 EDIT: The Devs seem to have taken feedback seriously and have improved the game substantially. Lots of improvements and the combat for mages isn't bad anymore. Yay for mage players! 3.5/5 Stars worth playing. EDIT: Games mechanics make you die at the very last minute of a 20 minute long slug fest. Doesn't matter what class you are the number of enemies far outweighs your power no matter what. Totally unfair and unjust. For a lack of fun and replayability for ME this gets a 1/5 stars. Mage is especially dog water quality. Avoid. Definitely a fun, cute rogue light and very enjoyable to play. Does need some more elements to add greater replayability.
This game is very easy to play and sick.
