Sagger is first a kind decision-making simulator based on historical facts, which allows you to check how a single decision would impact war results.
You will struggle with time, incomplete information from the battlefield, and a tremendous sense of responsibility for the country's future.

Sagger allows you to walk trough historical path of Yom Kippur War, but test alternative decisions that were considered during the war.
It starts September 13th and goes through all battle decisions made during Yom Kippur War, and all "WHAT IF..." scenarios.
This simulator will show you how your decisions impact the war and diplomatic arena.
The exploration of Sagger's HUGE historical database will show you all the events from Yom Kippur War as well as other topics from 1973 such as cold war politics and oil as a weapon.
The knowledge database contains 5 categories that you can explore:
*People
*Military
*History
*Tactics
*Geopolitics
Report Database
While things change on the battlefield and in diplomacy, you will receive reports from generals on all fronts as well as other major world leaders such as Henry Kissinger
You will learn how to use acquired information and make good decisions based on it.
Due to Sagger's historical accuracy and its entertaining form, this is the best way to learn about the history of the Yom Kippur War.
You can check your progress with a detailed map of the Israeli military movements during the Yom Kippur War, based on actual staff maps!

I enjoyed this game although I would define it more as an interactive history book with game elements. As a huge military history buff (especially the Cold War era), it was right up my alley and I learned more about specific people, places, and events relevant to that conflict. I had only a passing knowledge of the War of Attrition prior to Sagger but now feel as if I could do a short presentation. It is unpolished, unfinished, and obviously done on a low budget but I loved it. However, imo this is a niche product designed by Israelis and thus looks at events from their point of view.
I absolutely enjoyed it, it's apparent that the game quality and overall end product, surpass the resources invested in making of the video game. Not every game has the abundance of tools and resources of Paradox to make an historic based strategy game. עבודה מעולה חברים.
The best game on the market. Really very well crafted. Why doesn't someone else do their job like this ? Probably the most sophisticated strategy game of our time.
