Needs improvements
Apart from its horrible UI, the game is pretty fun, up until it becomes trivial when you population skyrockets into several billions of people allowing you to purchase any country. Basically, you have some policies in the HoI4 style. Unfortunately, only one branch of these policies is developed in full -- the Imperialistic Ukraine. The Democratic Ukraine branch is underdeveloped (no NATO entry, no EU entry, etc.). Strangely enough, it ends in the Imperialistic branch, so you get both achievements playing as a democracy. The Monarchic Ukraine branch is the shortest of all, somewhat similar to the Imperialistic Ukraine in its approach to the story. Hm.. What else?... I think it's worth mentioning that you can obtain provinces and even whole countries, as well as just create 'marionettes'. This is done either by 'researching' a policy which costs ~2 year money surplus, or by direct investment into a country/province which varies based on the country's GDP. This is all fine only on paper, as during the first 20-30 years, you don't have enough to do either, while thereafter you immediately start swimming in wealth. And by the time the Russian threat gets repelled, it's already a win.…
