A different take on the Nemesis style shoot'em up genre. It actually took me a while to get used to the controlling of the ship since in general you go only up-down-left-right but in this game if you strafe too fast the ships nose also goes up and down which kinda rises the difficulty of the game. Anyway, You are a bread human super soldier who is saving us from the aliens without questioning the generals orders. Save Iron Globe is a poorly made 2D retro pixel side scrolling shoot 'em up from the asset flippers at Frameblade. It's shovelware made with Unity. Frameblade have a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work. They took Synty's assets without crediting them, claiming the work of others as their own, for profit. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Save Iron Globe is a small-scale 2D arcade shooter that keeps its ambitions focused on fast action, survival, and score chasing. Developed and published by Frameblade, it places players in the role of Priscilla, a Perfect Soldier of the United Earth Federation who awakens from cryptosleep during an alien invasion. Instead of spending much time on exposition, the game quickly establishes the threat and sends Priscilla into battle, eventually leading toward a confrontation with the alien leader near the Moon. The campaign contains ten levels, making this a relatively compact experience. Each stage revolves around destroying hostile forces while avoiding incoming attacks and staying alive long enough to reach the objective. Movement and positioning are important because survival becomes increasingly dependent on recognizing dangerous situations and reacting before the screen becomes overwhelming.
