"Sbeve" is an abandoned Early Access third person adventure game. And this is not just rough around the edges, it's rough in the middle, too. Even before it was abandoned, this was in no state to be launched in Early Access, a buggy, incomplete and barely functional "game". Call this a pre-alpha, if you like... it's so unfinished it's nigh on impossible to play. It was probably abandoned because this is one of those cases of an amateur developer biting off way more than he can chew... there's a reason professionally made games are created by teams of dozens, even hundreds of talented developers. What do you do in the game? You wake up as an unknown robot, trying to discover your past through clues, and helping the town survive. Gameplay involves mining for minerals, getting upgrades, and exploring the procedurally generated underground... but almost none of it works properly. The developers abandoned this 5 years ago. Sbeve is a compact 3D mining and exploration adventure centered on an amnesiac robot trying to understand his identity and locate his missing creator. Developed and published by RTan, the game combines procedural environments, destructible terrain, resource gathering, upgrades, and light narrative motivation into an experimental sandbox structure. The protagonist awakens with practically no knowledge of his past, leaving the player to help a nearby town while gradually investigating the disappearance of the person responsible for creating him. It is a simple premise, but it provides an effective reason to venture beneath the surface rather than mining purely for resources. The fundamental progression loop is easy to understand. Players explore underground areas, collect minerals, improve the robot's capabilities, and use those improvements to reach increasingly difficult or distant locations. Resources therefore have a practical purpose, as obtaining better equipment allows further exploration. it was good and fun but i think the fighting is janky because I was shooting the laser gun at a skeleton for at least a minuet and it didn't die also it may be helpful to add a health bar to the enemies also why do buildings and things disappear when you remove the ground under them? also the castle disappeared when the slime got big and the slime started attacking so I killed it and now I can't sell my stuff EDIT: opened the game again and thought it didn't save because it did the beginning dialog again but it did save then i checked with the shop guy and the shop got reset also so did my shield and the gems I had had in my inventory had disappeared and respawned and the slime was back in the castle along with all the other buildings and I couldn't use my laser possibly because it was the final laser and it's no longer available in shop but also it did respawn at least a small bit of the ground and the slime did the same thing as last time but this time I didn't kill it just had to fly above it to sell
