"Scott Whiskers: The Search for the Golden Cat" is everything a sequel is supposed to be, keeping what already worked while improving on the first game’s weaknesses. Scott is a fun, well-voiced character who perhaps sticks his nose into other people’s business a little too much, but that’s precisely what gets him into positions where you need to use your wits to overcome all kinds of adventure gamey obstacles. The jungle is a fairly typical sort of setting for pulpy adventure stories, but developer Fancy Factory cleverly fuses it with the modern world, turning it into a vacation resort of sorts without being over-the-top touristy. There’s no fortune and glory in it, but whether or not you believe the Golden Cat really has supernatural powers, some good fun is reward enough to search for solutions to help a downtrodden Guatemalan community become prosperous once again. https://adventuregamehotspot.com/review/5654/scott-whiskers-the-search-for-the-golden-cat6 found this helpful
Wonderful sequel ! Even better than the first adventure, in which we may accompany Scott on his missions. The search for the golden cat is more refined, I liked both the story and the puzzles - and hope for more ! Highly recommended !4 found this helpful
A very good point-and-click adventure. Some challenges, but, overall, a pleasant experince3 found this helpful
Much better than the 1st game Puzzles are better, story's better, graphic's, too => and much, much lighter on dialogues => quest-influencing ones are highlighted which is great! Few things: Would love a bit more character depth Some of the puzzles: e.g, observing a person asleep: Scott says: let him sleep...but in turned out we need to wake him and this line totally throws off Overall, good game!2 found this helpful

Colorful point and click that gets better as you play. Mostly intuitive puzzles, good variety. I needed a walkthrough at first but once I understood the rhythm it got easier and not so seemingly random. I ended up caring about the characters!1 found this helpful
